At the starting line the crowds gather!

...and so do the crabs!!

Getting the crabs into the river....

Slider signals it is time to begin the race!

All the helpers are ready to set the crab free!

.................and away they go!

...moving out

..and the leaders head for home!

and here comes the winner!!!!!!!!!

The fire-bucket brigade bring the winners in (to the boiling pot?)
